A faculty member from the College of Pharmacy participates as a member in the discussion of a master's thesis at the University of Kufa.

Dr. Muhammad Hamza Hariz, from the College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Women, participated as a member of the Master’s thesis defense committee at the College of Pharmacy, University of Kufa. The thesis was entitled: *“Design, Synthesis, and Evaluation of the Anticancer Activity of Sulfonamide Derivatives Containing a Triazole Moiety as Carbonic Anhydrase Inhibitors.”* The study aimed to synthesize several chemical compounds and test their effectiveness against cancer cells. These derivatives are considered promising compounds in the development of targeted therapies against certain types of cancer by inhibiting the enzyme carbonic anhydrase. This participation reflects the commitment of faculty members to supporting scientific and research activities and enhancing academic collaboration between Iraqi universities.
