In its efforts to enhance the psychological and skill-based aspects of female students, the College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Girls organized a scientific awareness workshop that addressed the causes of anxiety and stress associated with exam periods, in addition to time management strategies as one of the keys to academic excellence.

The workshop, entitled “How to Overcome Anxiety and Stress During Exams and Time Management for Female Students,” was presented by Dr. Annie Shamsi, a UK-certified clinical psychiatrist specializing in advanced psychotherapy.

The workshop focused on the psychological and mental reasons that lead to increased levels of anxiety among students, especially during exam periods, explaining how this anxiety, if not managed properly, can negatively affect concentration and academic performance.
It also reviewed a range of practical techniques based on modern scientific principles that help students cope with academic stress, manage time, and build a healthy balance between academic requirements and personal life.

This workshop is part of a series of activities implemented by the College of Pharmacy, aimed at supporting female students psychologically and intellectually, in addition to qualifying them scientifically, in line with its vision of preparing conscious pharmaceutical cadres capable of facing academic and professional challenges with confidence and efficiency.
