Al-Zahraa University hosts the annual meeting of religions of private pharmacy colleges in Iraq

The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Munther Faisal Al-Amiri, the representative of the deans of private colleges in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Khulood Al-Sarraf, and the head of the Program Accreditation Council in Colleges of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Shaimaa Nizar.

Alongside him, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Nour Hatif Al-Dabbagh, affirmed that putting in place quick solutions and continuously monitoring the results gives priority in achieving the goals that would raise the level of pharmaceutical education, as well as providing scientific and practical outputs capable of contributing significantly to the development of the health sector.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the participating delegations toured the corridors of the university’s central library, where they were briefed on the development it is witnessing in terms of the services provided to students and the diverse paper resources, in addition to the modern international systems followed in the management of university libraries. They praised what they witnessed of a qualitative shift in the educational environment that supports students and researchers.

This meeting comes within the framework of unifying academic efforts and enhancing coordination between private pharmacy colleges, which contributes to building a generation of pharmacists who possess scientific competence and professional ability to serve the health sector in Iraq.
