
The Department of Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants held its periodic meeting and discussed mechanisms to improve the educational level of female students.
Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Nour Hatif Al-Dabbagh, and within the framework of the continuous development of academic programs that were designed to improve the educational process and achieve the best results in the field of pharmaceutical education for female students,The Department of Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants, headed by Dr. Roaa Ali, held its periodic meeting to discuss the requirements of scientific advancement and ways to develop the scientific and practical skills of female students.
The meeting addressed the review of the educational plans in place and ways to achieve results in an advanced manner, keeping pace with modern developments in the fields of pharmaceuticals and medicinal plants, as well as discussing mechanisms to enhance the practical and applied aspect in laboratory lessons, as it contributes to developing students’ educational skills in a better way.
The meeting was part of the college’s strategy to enhance the quality of higher education and raise the academic level, in line with the standards of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and to achieve scientific progress in the field of pharmaceutical education and keep pace with global standards in the application of its scientific paths.
