
The pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industry is exploring ways to develop pharmaceutical education using modern teaching methods.
The Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Industry at the College of Pharmacy, Al-Zahraa University for Girls, headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Qasim Badr Alawi, held its periodic meeting to discuss ways to develop pharmaceutical education and enhance the efficiency of the educational process in line with global scientific progress in modern teaching methods.
The meeting witnessed a discussion of a number of proposals that contribute to raising the level of academic and applied performance, with emphasis on the importance of integrating interactive methods and modern digital technologies in teaching scientific courses, in order to enhance the students’ skills and their ability to deal with developments in the field of pharmaceutical industry.
The branch members also discussed future plans to update curricula and expand scientific cooperation with research institutions, as part of the college’s efforts to improve the quality of pharmaceutical education and achieve global academic standards.
This meeting is part of a series of periodic meetings held by the Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Industry Branch at the College of Pharmacy, confirming the college’s keenness to embody its vision of achieving advanced pharmaceutical education that keeps pace with global academic standards and contributes to preparing scientific personnel capable of meeting the needs of the pharmaceutical labor market in Iraq.
