
The College of Pharmacy is keeping pace with the steps to introduce GLP records in advanced laboratories.
Under the guidance and continuous supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Women, Professor Dr. Nour Hatef Al-Dabbagh, and within the framework of the college's plans to improve the work of scientific laboratories, the head of the Laboratory Quality Accreditation Unit, Ms. Duaa Mohsen Farhan, held a meeting.With the officials of the scientific laboratories, to discuss mechanisms for creating Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) records, which are among the main pillars in the system of ensuring the quality of academic laboratories.
During the meeting, the procedural steps for implementing the GLP system in accordance with international standards were discussed, which contributes to raising the efficiency of performance within laboratories and enhancing the reliability of scientific results for students and researchers.
This step, which comes as part of the college’s plan to develop the quality infrastructure in laboratories, is in preparation for obtaining official accreditation from the relevant regulatory bodies.
It is worth noting that the application of good laboratory practice standards is a fundamental requirement in reputable academic institutions, and aims to ensure a safe and accurate working environment that supports the educational and research process simultaneously.
