
A delegation from the Health and Medical Education Authority arrives at the university and commends the academic efforts that achieve efficiency and quality in higher education.
A delegation from the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, headed by Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, CEO, and including Dr. Bushra Al-Awadi, Director of Al-Sibtain Academy for Autism and Developmental Disorders, and Dr. Osama Al-Saadi, Director of Al-Sibtain Foundation for Psychiatry and Community Rehabilitation, visited Al-Zahraa University for Girls. They were received by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs.
Prof. Dr. Zuhair Muhammad Ali, and the Assistant Financial and Administrative Officer,
Dr. Hassan Al-Qazzaz, during their tour of the College of Pharmacy, were briefed on the educational development taking place at the college, and the qualitative steps it has taken to keep pace with modern global systems in university education.
The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Noor Hatif Al-Dabbagh, also provided an explanation of how the college’s adopted educational systems align with modern standards and achieve advanced scientific outcomes. She highlighted that several factors have contributed to the development of education at the university, including the advanced infrastructure, well-equipped scientific laboratories, and modern devices, in addition to the continuous support from the Holy Hussaini Shrine and the University Presidency.
Al-Abadi stressed that the progress steps reflect a clear vision and well-thought-out plans aimed at preparing female graduates who possess scientific and practical competence and are capable of actively contributing to serving the health sector in Iraq.
Al-Dabbagh also indicated that supporting pioneering academic experiences occupies a large part of her tasks, as it represents a qualitative leap in higher education, in addition to opening new horizons for scientific and research cooperation with educational institutions inside and outside Iraq.
The College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Girls is one of the colleges that is of great importance, as it represents a scientific model that keeps pace with the progress of university education in Iraq, and the results and first ranks it has achieved in the evaluation exams, which show the efficiency of educational outputs in providing their services to society in the health sector.
