Under the aegis of Prof. Dr Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women along with supervision of the Dean of Pharmacy Faculty a female student-led visit took place to Al-Sibtain Autism Academy, an institution affiliated with Imam Hussein Holy Shrine. The visit was carried out within the social responsibility initiatives of the University and under the patronage of General Secretariat of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine. The purpose of the visit was to bring joy to the children and raise awareness about the importance of supporting individuals with autism.

During the visit, pharmacy female students engaged with the children in a warm and compassionate atmosphere. Additionally, they presented various gifts aimed at boosting the children’s sensory and cognitive skills. The administration of the academy expressed profound gratitude for this humanitarian initiative, underscoring the significance of such activities in strengthening social bonds and supporting the academy’s children.

It bears noting that the visit was part and parcel of a broader series of initiatives undertaken by Pharmacy Faculty to promote humanitarian values and contribute to community service. It also reflected the Faculty’s commitment to graduate healthcare professionals able to embody both scientific excellence and social responsibility.
