On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, fifth-year students at the College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Girls began theoretical lectures for the subject of “Hospital Training,” within the framework of enhancing the practical aspects of their academic journey.
The students began their training with special lectures in the internal medicine ward, supervised by Dr. Dunia Habib, who holds the Iraqi Board Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy, which focused on introducing the students to different clinical cases and how to deal with appropriate drug treatments.
Another group of female students was also distributed to the children’s ward, under the supervision of pediatrician Dr. Wafaa, where she gave theoretical lectures that dealt with the most common cases in pediatrics and the pharmacological principles associated with them.
This training is an important step in preparing qualified pharmacists capable of working efficiently within the medical team, in line with the requirements of the labor market and primary healthcare.
