Under the aegis of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for women along with the supervision and presence of Prof. Dr. Nour Hatif Al-Dabbagh, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty organized a training seminar entitled” Exploring Possibilities of Virtual Table”. Heads of scientific sections and a slew of academic staff closely followed up the new educational experience that relied on virtual reality technology in various disciplines attended the training seminar. The said event spanned over two days.
Eng. Muhannad Shaheed Shaker, Managing Director of Al-Fares Technical Solutions, presented the said event. He explained the multiple uses of the table and held interactive training on the anatomy of human organs in accurate details. Additionally, he explained how to establish complex physical and chemical experiments as well as the examination of cells and tissues deeply from a three-dimensional perspective. Furthermore, Mr. Shaker showed the importance of that device for students where opportunities are provided to learn in a modern style that combined interaction and scientific accuracy, which contributed to enhancing academic skills and developing practical understanding.
