Under the aegis of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for women,

, the Pharmacy Faculty, under the supervision of its Dean, Prof. Dr. Nour Hatif Al-Dabbagh, organized a seminar on "The Role of Voluntary Work in the University Environment".
The event was also organized in collaboration with Continuous Education Center with the participation of a selected group of Faculty members and academic staff. The said event was as part of the academic plan for continuous education.
The event, which was managed and discussed by Dr. Alaa Abdul-Hussein Naeem, Head of the Department of Drugs, Toxicology, and Clinical Pharmacy, aimed to highlight the role of voluntary work in the university environment.
The seminar's goal was to define voluntary work, which included individual or collective efforts without financial compensation, i.e. dedicating time, effort, and resources to serve a specific segment of society.
Furthermore, the seminar clarified the positive outcomes of voluntary work, including its impact on individual, social, and psychological development.

. It also emphasized how voluntary work strengthened community bonds and fostered positive relationships between individuals. Additionally, it highlighted the positive impact of voluntary work on the reputation of the university or institution.
