The University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Pharmacy is holding an awareness lecture to promote student culture.

Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Nour Hatif Al-Dabbagh, and in order to promote awareness and culture among female students in line with societal requirements, the University Psychological Counseling Division held an awareness lecture aimed at increasing students’ awareness of the dangers of some behaviors and their impact on their academic and psychological future.

The lecture was titled, (The impact of social media between positives and negatives on academic achievement and mental health of female university students).

The lecture was presented by M.M. Ayat Khader Ali, as part of the activities of the University Psychological Counseling Division aimed at promoting awareness and guidance within the university campus.

The lecture addressed the most prominent positive and negative effects of using social media, and its repercussions on mental health, concentration, and academic achievement, in addition to discussing ways to use these tools optimally in order to achieve psychological and academic balance.

The lecturer also emphasized the importance of self-awareness and time management, and the role of psychological counseling in supporting students and helping them overcome psychological pressures, and building a balanced university personality capable of making sound decisions.

This event is part of a series of activities implemented by the college with the aim of establishing a culture of awareness and responsibility, and preparing female students capable of protecting their academic and professional future.
