Ministerial accreditation is nearing completion for the College of Pharmacy, and extensive meetings are being held to implement its plans.

The Deanship of the College of Pharmacy held an expanded meeting, chaired by Professor Dr. Nour Hatif Al-Dabbagh, which was dedicated to discussing ministerial accreditation files, in a step described as pivotal within the college’s path towards completing the accreditation requirements according to the standards approved by the competent authorities.

The meeting, which included members of the relevant committees and related academic and administrative staff, focused on assessing the current status of accreditation files, diagnosing strengths and weaknesses, as well as reviewing what has been accomplished during previous stages, and what is required to reach the final stage in terms of decisive procedures and accurate implementation.

During the meeting, the final plans and practical mechanisms necessary to implement the accreditation requirements were discussed, with emphasis on the need for strict adherence to timelines, clear distribution of tasks, and ensuring the integration of work between the various committees, in line with academic and institutional quality standards.

Al-Dabbagh stressed that the accreditation file is not a formal procedure, but rather represents a fundamental pillar in developing the educational process, raising the efficiency of academic programs, and enhancing the confidence of society and official institutions in the scientific and professional outputs of the college.

The meeting also stressed the importance of continuous follow-up, accurate documentation, and updating of data related to programs, laboratories, and curricula, in order to ensure the achievement of the goals set for ministerial accreditation and to place the college in an advanced position on the map of pharmaceutical education.

This meeting comes as part of a series of organizational steps adopted by the Deanship of the College of Pharmacy, in its endeavor to consolidate quality and accreditation standards, and to achieve an educational environment capable of graduating qualified pharmaceutical personnel who meet the requirements of the labor market and the challenges of the health sector.
