Under the auspices of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Noor Al-Dabbagh, and in cooperation with the Centre for Continuous Education, the College of Pharmacy organized a scientific training course titled “Proper Methods for Handling Laboratory Animals.” The course was delivered by a group of faculty members from the college, including Assistant Lecturer Intisar Hadi, Assistant Lecturer Hajar Alaa, Assistant Lecturer Fatima Mohammed, and Mustafa Abdulhussein. The training covered key topics such as proper handling techniques for laboratory animals, methods of drug administration, and the utilization of animals in scientific research and experiments, all aimed at achieving accurate and effective results. The session explored recent advancements in pharmaceutical nanotechnology and highlighted the effectiveness of nanoparticles in enhancing antibiotic absorption. It also discussed their role in reducing common infections and emphasized the importance of adopting this technology in both pharmaceutical and preventive industries. Read more
