A delegation from the College of Pharmacy participates in a specialized seminar to promote health awareness and community initiatives.

As part of the ongoing cooperation between Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Girls and health institutions, a delegation from the College of Pharmacy, headed by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Alaa Abdul Hussein, participated in the educational awareness seminar held by Khadija Al-Kubra Hospital (PBUH) to raise awareness about breast cancer.

The seminar aimed to spread the culture of early detection and raise awareness of the importance of periodic screening, as the most important step in prevention and reducing infection rates, in addition to highlighting modern methods in diagnosis and treatment.

The awareness lecture included several educational interventions by specialists in the field of oncology and healthcare, focusing on the role of academic institutions in spreading health awareness and encouraging community initiatives aimed at supporting women psychologically and health-wise in facing the disease.

The participation of the College of Pharmacy is one of the most important steps in promoting community programs that support public health, in addition to the importance of continuing communication between students and medical institutions to establish a culture of health awareness in society.

The College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Girls continues to support humanitarian and awareness initiatives that contribute to serving the community, and affirms its commitment to its academic mission of preparing a generation that contributes to improving the health situation in Iraq.
