The College of Pharmacy is organizing a charity bazaar to support cancer patients and promote its community service mission.
The College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Girls held a charity bazaar as part of the annual health awareness festival “Pink October”, which is organized by the college and its students to promote health awareness and spread the culture of psychological and social support for patients.
The bazaar was distinguished by the wide participation of female students, in addition to the teaching staff in the college laboratories with a number of tests and blood tests. Also, various products of handicrafts and supplies were displayed, the proceeds of which are allocated entirely to support patients in the Warith Foundation for Cancer Treatment.
This initiative, which aims to put a smile on the faces of patients and give them the strength and courage they need in their treatment journey, confirms that volunteer work is part of the educational and humanitarian mission adopted by the college.
These events come as a confirmation of Al-Zahraa University for Girls’ commitment to its approach of linking education with community service, and promoting a spirit of human responsibility among students, in its constant endeavor to build a conscious academic generation that carries the message of science and mercy together.
