The pharmaceutical laboratory aims to introduce female students to the types of pharmaceutical forms and methods of preparing and evaluating them. The laboratory contains the latest educational equipment necessary for this.

Micro biology:

Micro biological laboratory

It is one of the essential laboratories in the Faculty of Pharmacy, which includes the Bacteria and Parasitology Laboratory, in which the student learns about the most important diagnostic tests for infectious pathogens such as bacterial diseases, antibiotic, viral and parasitic detection tests, and diagnosis of immunological diseases. It is also equipped with the most important diagnostic devices and equipment necessary for this, such as microscopes, incubators, and sterilization devices, like an oven.

This laboratory is considered to be one of the fundamental laboratories for female students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, as it helps the student to understand anatomy and physiology from a scientific practical standpoint, thus helping them to identify the various organs of the body that are organized within systems.

The students are also introduced to the most important recent developments in the science of anatomy and physiology in terms of modern techniques in diagnosing and determining laboratory tests, such as examining blood groups, differential diagnosis of blood cells, and other laboratory tests.

Providing advanced laboratory study programs in the field of anatomy and physiology and graduating students capable of providing society with scientific competencies and specialized cadres trained in modern scientific techniques and qualified scientifically and practically in this field

Computer lab number – 2

It is one of the main laboratories of the Faculty of Pharmacy. The laboratory can accommodate forty female students, as it contains forty laptop calculators and a smart board.

The Computer Lab is concerned with providing practical lectures and conducting semester and final exams, including:

Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory: The laboratory aims to give students a general idea about organic and biological compounds and develop the student’s ability to perform various experiments and chemical reactions. In this laboratory, students of the Faculty of Pharmacy learn the basic concepts of organic pharmaceutical chemistry through the structure, properties, and interactions of organic compounds. Students acquire the knowledge of how to determine the chemical composition of organic compounds, understand their interactions, synthesize organic compounds with known pharmaceutical efficacy, and grasp their purification and diagnosis method to develop their research ability and to diligently examine the methods used in the synthesis of various drugs.

Medical physics laboratory

The Medical Physics Laboratory aspires to qualify female students of the Faculty of Pharmacy to become familiar with the basics of medical physics by providing them with scientific and practical experiences. The laboratory is dedicated to training female students in the principles of physics and applications. Devices and equipment inside the laboratory, enabling students to think, analyze and discuss results, raise their level of reasoning and deduction, and make them able to link theoretical ideas of physics with field practices by developing their practical skills.

Histology and Disease Physiology

Histology and Disease Physiology Laboratory / Vision The Histology and Disease Physiology Laboratory is one of the Faculty of Pharmacy’s laboratories. Through this laboratory, students learn the mechanisms for preparing tissue slides as well as how to diagnose pathological changes that occur in tissues as a result of being affected by various diseases. The laboratory also contains some preserved samples for the purpose of observing macroscopic changes in organs

Histology and pathology laboratory message

The mission of the laboratory is to provide excellent education, high training, reliable research, and a high level of diagnostic services for patients to improve health care in Karbala and all of Iraq.

Pharmaceuticals and toxicology laboratory

It is concerned with studying methods of dealing with laboratory animals and the impact of different medications and doses on them
Toxicology and its clinical applications are also subjects of study in addition to the study of the harmful effects of drugs and chemicals.

It is one of the main laboratories of the Faculty of Pharmacy. The laboratory can accommodate forty female students. It is a branch of chemistry that focuses on studying chemical substances and processes that occur in living systems such as cells, tissues, and organs. In this laboratory, various techniques are applied to understand and analyze the chemical aspects of life, including the study of biological interactions, the analysis of proteins and nucleic acids, and other research related to health and life science.
